The nights are closing in, and the mountain of lesson planning and marking that being a teacher brings at this time of year has become the most significant mountain in my life.Given that this year's 'big' mountain is over and done with, I've decided to leave the mountain-a-month challenge on that particular high note (5895 meters high to be exact).
This does not, however, mean I will stop posting on this Blog; I still plan to continue to record my mountain trips (outside of the Lakes) here, and I will record my Wainwright trips on my 'Mr Pin's Wainwrights'. The difference is that I will now write up trips as and when they happen, rather than trying to do exactly one a month.
So, to sum it up, the challenge is over, but the Blog continues...
On that note, I am planning on completing the Wainwright Coast to Coast walk during Easter/Summer 2011, and am looking for a walking partner. If you fancy the challenge then drop me a line!
