This month I headed out to the Cotswolds for a slightly different mountain experience. Not only did I not reach the top of any hills or mountains, but my feet didn't really touch the ground at all during the 2 hour trek. In fact, someone else did all the work for me, whose name was "Shyah".
And this fantastic experience is all thanks to Tam. You see, Tam likes horses. Tam is also getting married in September so for her Hen (and Cock) Party she decided to book a cottage in the Cotswolds.. and as a suprise us friends decided to take her horse riding. The afternoon was wonderful and the views were beautiful. We treked through forests, over rivers and high on the hill sides. It's great to see the mountains from a slightly different persepctive, and despite back, leg and bum pains the next day the motion of the horses is actually very relaxing when you get into it.
So, if you're interested in a similar experience, we stayed in this cottage and went horse treking with Travellog Farm. I wuold highly recommend Travellog Farm! The service and experience were excellent, with lovely friendly staff who even tried to match people up with horses with similar personalities.
And all that's left to say is, Congratulations Tam and Mike!
